View Legend Calculating At a GlanceIn determining whether an indicator was the same or different from the Ontario Average or whether an indicator was the same or different from the Comparison Data, we took the following approach: Values were considered essentially "the same" if: - There was no statistically significant difference between them; OR
- Where there was no significance information calculated, then if there were overlapping confidence intervals; OR
- Where there were no confidence intervals calculated, then if the percent values were less than or equal to 2 percentage points of each other. For absolute values, we calculated the percentage difference between the values. Less than or equal to a 2% change or difference was considered the same.
